| Non c'è certo compostezza nel Venerdì Santo di Barrafranca. Qui la macchina processuale, che viene portata in maniera piuttosto tumultuosa, porta il nome di "Trunu". Un piccolo palo sulla cui sommità c'è una sfera, una sorta di mappamondo multicolore, a questo viene inserita "a spera" alla quale vengono appesi i "scocchi", dei nastri colorati rappresentanti gli ex-voto. Sopra la "spera" vi è un crocifisso interamente avvolto da gioielli. Se il palo è relativamente basso le travi che servono per il trasporto invece sono lunghissime. Circa 200 fedeli dovrebbero portarlo in spalla. Allora i tanti giovani che non hanno potuto ottenere il posto, con mezzi non certo leciti, cercano di guadagnarsi il posto sotto u trunu. In questa grande confusione la macchina va e non c'è modo di fermarla fino a fine processione. | Not there is sure composure in the Easter Friday of Barrafranca.
