Suggestiva è la processione della "Real Maestranza" che si svolge il Mercoldì Santo. Eredi della antiche Corporazioni della città, in quattrocento, in abito nero, sfilano per le vie cittadine. Gli appartenenti alle corporazioni artigianali eleggono ogni anno il Capitano della Maestranza. Guidati da quest'ultimo, che veste un tradizionale abito settecentesco e accompagnati da una marcia funebre, in corteo di recano in Cattedrale a venerare il Santissimo.
